I do not know if this was previously mentioned. But, you can set it to do a "real time" update whenever a new update is released. They can be sometimes seconds apart from one another.

Mbam *is* an antivirus scanner. The term 'malware' includes viruses, etc.

MBAM is awesome, I have paired it with MSSE and that seems to work greatly for me.

I pretty much suspected that MBAM would stop everything in it's path that was harmful & perform as it did in this test.

Heck one time I installed Firefox on someones PC and they had me rename it and change the icon on the desktop to IE so they could find it.
