@Silverjda where you come from people " cured" by beatings such as that grow up to have their highest aspirations realized in being strippers and underpaid truck drivers whos only hope for a better life comes from escaping people like you.
and maybe someday youll realize what thinking like that does to this world.
Thank you, Susan, for sharing your story of perseverance. I, too, am a student, but I don't have the same obstacles that you have to deal with on a daily basis. Your story has encouraged me to study harder! Thank you.
Why doesn't the United States have such a thing? The land of the free and opertunity for all. The biggest and saddest disability here holding others back is other people. That is why the US ranks so low and getting lower. It's all, fake, cheating, and socialite things. And they want to spead it every where. This takes money away that could go to Goldman Sachs bonuses, and they'd start calling it socialism or communism in propaganda and with the dumbed down public, who want dummies to rule...
Thanks for subscribing to my video channel at RSC North and East. I wonder if it would be possible to get your original video/footage so I could upload it to the RSC Channel.
I thought this was a really interesting video and I enjoyed watching it. I may be interested in being a reader myself, although I would have to do it during my 'free' period between my courses each winter. I am not sure though whether I have sufficient clarity of voice. Is there a sort of 'audition' to find out whether one is suitable or not?
Many thanks for the offer. If you phone The Open University and explain that you would like to be a reader, they will forward you to the correct department.
Susan, thank you for sharing this with us. I hope more courses become available with the support that you need and that you continue to enjoy your studies.

At least she is doing something with her life instead of wasting it away and depending on government paid income to get through life.

I do understand your studying struggles. I am struggling with clinical depression and ADHD. This makes me have low self esteem.

This was a really inspirational video to watch.
Being an OU student myself - I find it motivates me more to do my very best.
There's so many people out there who don't want to better themselves or don't even want to.
They should watch the video of this remarkable lady and see how much she pushed herself to learn. :)

It takes an extra special student with these disabilities to succeed, well done to her and those others that keep going!

I would be interested in being a volunteer reader. I love reading and if it would helpd someone, then that's even better.
