It wasn't as complex of a raid design, but Firelands sits to the right of Ulduar in my heart. Its main theme is easily my favorite chunk of music from the entire game so far.

Ulduar just had more awesomeness. Firelands was a burst of awesome where Ulduar was a stream of awesome. :B

@Bunuko No, he got defeated. As I said, as long as an elemental IS NOT defeated on their plane (Firelands, Deepholm, etc) then they are not permanently dead.

That is why AlÁkir and Ragnaros are permanent dead. We killed them on their elemental plane.

Since we killed Thunderaan in Silithus and not @ Throne of the 4 Winds, he is still alive somewhere, albeit recovering most likely.

I liked the old Horde, with more brutal ways, the only true orc thing I saw thrall do was in the firelands quest chains where you charge the totems in the firelands he yells out "KIng Varian, you wish to make war upon my people? You shall have your war human, you will see the fury of the horde rage through your cities" That's all I can remember but it was sick :P, the horde isnt as badass as it used to be :/

for me even the amount of stuff i did in it was the same.. in the starting raids for both i won jack shit, no mounts, no ach and epic fail

in this inbetween raid for both i got full hc gear, all ach and mounts and won the rare mount from end boss (mim head and firehawk)

@Shadowrushbrony I'd love it if at some point in the future, we return to Ulduar. In a similar way to how Dragon Soul and the HoT Heroics takes place in Dragonblight, and the Legendary Staff started in the Nexus.

Ulduar only lasted a few months before it was ousted by ToC (which was absolutely terrible in comparison). There's a lot of wasted visuals left forgotten in the Storm Peaks.

I think the people who complained about recycling Ragnaros have no idea what they're talking about, and have no ground to stand on. Since Vanilla, the implication—Executus even said this in MC—was that Ragnaros was weak and would only be sent back to the Firelands if he faltered. On top of that, everything we see of the new Ragnaros is entirely original save for his name. The model, the mechanics, the voice, the dungeon, everything is brand new.

Firelands was fun and had interesting fights, the Molten Front and the Hyjal Regrowth were GREAT intros to the raid, and I always loved Ragnaros.

For Mists of Pandaria, make more patches like 4.2

@thewickerman1995 Well if you compare LK raids to Cata bosses, you can see a big difference : LK : raid with 12+ bosses, great design, respectfull to the lore, entire story in it, HM almost impossible with no nerf (Yogg, LK) and each raid brought a new mecanism (Malygos drake fight, Ulduar tank fight, TOC animation raid event, ICC battleship fight...) Cata didn't have half of what LK had but is still good.
