This is not natural henna. Looks like ppd hair dye to me. This can cause life-threatening reactions and kidney failure. Make sure the artist is using real natural henna and not chemicals.

Real henna will leave an orange stain when it is first removed that will gradually darken to a dark brown or burgundy shade. If the color is deposited immediately and is dark brown or black, it is definitely not henna.

I would like to know how did he put the design on your skin before applying the henna? With a transfer paper?
