@Apend1x It's a bazillion times better than release. Release had slow email, crappy limited chat, choppy sluggish framerate, etc. All that's been fixed and more. The game *seems* to be experiencing a player population growth as of the last couple of months or so. Tier 4 on Volkmar is almost always hopping in the evenings, despite the server being a wee (lol) bit destro controlled.

WAR still has the potential but it is up to Bioware (since they are now part of it) to make it happen. Bioware are really great when it comes to storytelling so let us hope they us it for the pve aspect of this game. people think this game, along with AoC, will bite the dust but I say if UO is still online (yes i am sure its cheaper to keep running due to its age) then WAR and AoC are great for awhile.

The differences between WAR and WoW, put down to basic level is that WAR is RVR(PvP) while WoW Focuses on PVE. Both games are great, but I think WAR has an upper hand just with it's presentation. With a few more years Warhammer will be much much better.

Well, hard to say. Because WoW is made to be addictive, WAR is not ... and WoW is easy, so thoose youngest people with bad temper can play it. I mean, if a low-temped paladin comes from WoW to WAR, he wil break his keyboard before level 10 - due to having to work in a team and having to face real PvP.

But yes, as an old veteran WoW player, I find WAR more fun - as the fun start asap you enter a scenario, not when you reach end-game =)

Good to hear =) I recently went to WAR from AoC, which I left due to it being too similar to WoW - Most classes is the same.

Well, so far I've got a R12 Ironbreaker, R10 Shaman and an R6 Swordmaster. I find it awesome to be able to level JUST via PvP. It really beats every other MMO I've ever played!

Well im not teddybeer87, but my first class was Black Orc and they were rly funny + there mount is awsome =) But Choppa is also a very good starting class 4 its good dps, so you just have to choose if you want to tank or dps ;)

RvRCity and conflict statistics show up on the Warhammer website, if you want to know which look at the battle progress for each server one by one. But at this point the forces tend to be rather even on most but the servers with destinctively order or chaos related names tend to favor those sides simply due to population distribution rather then skill. I suggest servers with local populations to your location over what is best, easier to make friends, and friends help you win more.

I like to think of WAR as being more of a game for Warhammer fans then a comprehensive MMO at this stage. When it comes to a competition of features wow beats it on all fronts, but the underlying truth about WoW is unless youre in the right social group or right guild you don't get far. WoW is a very long social clime to the top unless youre a healer these days. Has a very casual community with people at the top too hardcore. Even with the new expansion.

Unfortunatly most of the people in the top say few thousand don't realise that there are millions who never get there. Often the matters of recruiting is something most people in good guilds pay little attention to. And its hard to get into 2K+ arena when all the good players are taken and your stuck with having to team up with people discriminate you based on your class.

All I know is, I'm never going to role a Ranged DPS class again. Very hard to rise to the top when you have 90% of the rest of the community competing for the position who have no lives when you have school and work as well as other hobbies to manage. Thats the case of WoW, everyone roles the same classes, where in other MMOs you get less Legolace wannabes.

No it dosen't, problem is it dosen't stop people doing it, and it dosen't stop people backstabbing each other, crying about each other or spreading rumors about each other. People will always be too over-the-top in WoW,  And thoses too down to earth to care never get off their arses and do anything, let others do everything and thats why the community is in such a mess. Not to mention the level of idioticy, alot of people don't know how to play.
