I really must start playing mine with the top open more often. I forget how good they sound like that. It's currently acting as a stand for my laptop and recording gear, but it needs a tune, so I'll give it a good blast with the lid off while I'm doing it.
I spent a couple of days regulating it last year, and I've replaced a few of the more inharmonic bass strings, and the capacitors in the power supply.
I love it to bits - The CP-60/70/80 are fantastic pianos, and a bit of a talking point.

Was that played 'unplugged'? It's a nice sounding piano in its own right for its size, let alone with all the tremolo etc you can put on it

@77edster yes, it was played acoustically. Admittedly, the room has very nice acoustics but the piano does sound great unplugged.
