the dungeons aren't interesting enough for me to complete like that

they are to long for how they look exactly the same the whole way through

some people don't mind that stuff but i focus a lot on the environments in games

well, i gotta admit that the ghost ship IS repetitive as HELL , but they change monters. anyways, the environment is very detailed and has alot of interactions. my advice to stop the repetition: place an insector trap on the floor. if it reacts, its time you go to the place, stoping the repetition.

This is a genuinely good game even if battles are repetitive, and the eviroments mostly pre-defined corridors/ areas.

Not up to Final Fantasy standards (pre FFXII), but then what is? It has it's own character, but still feels very 'Japanese RPG', in a good way.

There have been so many average RPG's out there in the last 5 years (Star Ocean 3, the massively dissapointing FFXII for eg.) but this one is different.

FFXII is not massively disappointing. FFXI is, though. Truth be told, both FFXII and this one are quite similar. Hell, even some of the same voice over artists/voice acting talent are the same from both games! RG has the Revelation flow and FFX/FFX-2/FFXII have the Grid Sphere and License Boards, respectively. RG has quarries and FFXII has a similar system. Hell, I would not even doubt that FFXII has a thing that is similar to the Synthesis options of RG somewhere in that game!

Well,it's actullay very repeative and the enemys are aggesively hard and the second run through the ghost ship takes around 6 hours.

The first about 2,the pay off isn't really worth it,cept the costume,that just looks badass. :D

You have to be carefull and avoid some enemys at all times,cause you can't leave the ship,unless you wanna start over,you stock up on heals and go. :\

Gets boring.

Dude the frog log is massive, and a waste of time to complete. To get 100% for the frog log is easy cause it only needs you to analyze 100 weapons and create only 50... But to be a complete perfectionist theres so much more to synthesize its insane.
