The bottled water industry should do ITS part by developing 100% biodegradable bottles that do so in or out of landfills.
Depending on consumers to fix the problem they created is passing the buck--and it's obviously not working. Check out any roadside littered with bottles.
You know what's even more convenient? filling a reusable bottle with tap water. it's cheaper, usually healthier, and doesn't have to be shipped halfway across the country. Feel free to dislike this if you hate saving money and like burning oil for no reason.
@revengajerboa burning oil for no reason really? how about if I told you every diesel vehicle in the united states could be ran of biodiesel (vegetable oil) right now. Now how about all the money ($30,000,000,000) the u.s. government pays farmers not to grow stuff (subsidies) each year you want to talk about for no reason. How about fast food? when the hell did we get so friggin' lazy that we can't get out of our cars, and the notion keeping it on saves more gas than to start it is wrong.
@thatwaterguy74 Biodiesel is a lie. You're just burning food instead, and you're still burning what is essentially petrochemicals. The hydrogen powered car was originally invented over thirty years ago, why is it even still legal to sell a gasoline or diesel non-commercial vehicle?

Love the line "And how hard is this?" Recycling should be second-nature to all of us.

Healthy hydration without all the sugar and a successful recycling rate. There is a lot to love about bottled water.
