  • hey dude do you get the equipment with it?

  • dude you were a fat ass but now your a bad ass bro!

  • @XnoobasouresXx Ha, LOL ... I guess you're right ... at least about the 1st part :)

  • @XcellentFitness hey dude do you get the equipment with it??

  • @XnoobasouresXx no, you need to get a pullup bar and exercise bands or some dumbbells - there is a version of P90X you can buy that includes the pullup bar and bands

  • @XcellentFitness hey dude do you get the equipment with it?

  • @Relentlessness hey dude do you get the equipment with it?

  • Thx for your response. You are right when you say that I didn't have read all the comments to this video- do you do that? I still have the same opinion: It's an awful unhealthy work-out and there should be a (visual) warning, especially for beginners or people who want to inform themselves about p90x. I have to admit that I haven't done it because the internet gives so much information that there is no need to buy stuff or to go into the gym...

  • @hanspeterpansenator Cheers dude!

  • what a badass, seriously.

  • @deemoshi Thanks ... :P

  • Wow how high can you jump without the vest!? :0

  • @TheSquirtleKing Umm, I dunno ... I can dunk a volleyball, but my hands aren't big enough to palm a basketball :( I'm 5'11"

  • Where did you get your vest?

  • @sasquatch7565 I got it at Dick's Sporting Goods, which is a local sporting goods chain here in Southern California.

  • Good for you man

  • @Donomanthelongboardr Thank you :)

  • good shit.

  • @iTzzSteLLar Thanks man!

  • @iTzzSteLLar Thanks man!

  • I`m the guy who gives the first "dislike". You know why? Because you show a really unhealthy way of training. IT WILL KILL YOUR KNEES AND YOUR ARTICULARS! You better do ropeskipping, still a burden, but not as jumping up and down with high weigths is. Jump squats are better, too.

  • @hanspeterpansenator Hey bro, if you had read some of the comments, which clearly you didn't, you'd see I don't do this regularly and don't advocate it either. It's all good though ... I just let the haters hate man and move on. Cheers :)

  • Nice hat.

  • @21xxx21 Mossimo baby

  • congratz dude

  • @ABCdawggg Thanks much!

  • Good job man

  • im a white boy and i can jump and dunk a 10 foot rim =D

  • @DibcornProductions01 I can't quite palm a ball, so I can't jam :(

  • @XcellentFitness well if you work on your hops you will get it down dont worry about it

  • We had to do this for keeper training man, except we had a rope and it got wider as it went on. Then we had to dicve and catch a ball. Twas a bitch but great feeling after all.

  • @socc3rman101 Yes Sir, that post-X exercise/X feeling is pretty great :)

  • im 15 n ive beeen doing p90x for over a year

  • @splashygoboom How has it worked for you?

  • Great job man keep up the good work. I'm 4 weeks in and I love it I'm getting really fit really quick. P90X Bring it.

  • @nudgynudgy Love the X! Sounds like you do too!

  • Hey that vest is a little less than what you used to carry around with you every day without a choice. LOL Nice job Copper

  • @KirkZacharda Ha! You're right about that - thanks man!

  • yeah i hate plyo i lose short of breathe any advice how i can get used to it? i always feels like i juss got punch in the stomach

  • @Strivenigga Ha, so did I! Just keep doing it, keep plugging away. Your cardiovascular health WILL improve, prob quicker than you think! :)

  • from all that jumping you must of gain strenght from doing the plyometrics am i corrected?

  • @Strivenigga Yes Sir, Plyo played a huge part in increasing my "hops" :)

  • NICE, have you ever busted your ass doing that?

  • @TheRiflebull as in fall down? Negative - had a few close calls though :)

  • i love your videos, in fact i often watch them before a workout. Keep posting them fella and keep bringing it

  • @74mickyboy Thanks my friend - I try to keep em fresh and creative, so I space em out a little bit - another in a few months :)

  • Did p99x once, but I skipped all the YogaX exercises, didn't follow the diet plan at ALL, and simply didn't put a full input of effort which in output I lost about 18 lbs. But you sir, have motivated me to do this. I'll be keeping YouTube posted. Day 1, starts tomorrow. Here I go!

  • @MoneyMakingization Awesome! I firmly believe that about 60% of ppl's results come from the diet and supplements they take - keep me posted and let me know if you need any help!

  • yo man what kind of 40 pound weighted vest did you buy? where from and how much cause i spent 85 on an Altus 40 lb vest and its WAY TOO BIG FOR ME haha. its hard to do plyo with it on cause it goes up and down higher than me and hurts my shoulders. im tryin to dunk like you brotha help me out

  • @0chump0 I got mine from Dick's Sporting Goods, which is a sporting goods chain here in Southern California - it's a FitnessGear brand and I really like it a lot - it has thick, durable velcro straps and I can really set it up so that it's snug and doesn't move around on me :)

  • You just got me re-inspired!! You are a beast!!

  • @nysaz Thanks - Beast-Mode baby! haha

  • what a beast can u dunk?

  • @jkl623 I can dunk a volleyball, but my hands aren't big enough to palm a basketball so therefore I can't quite dunk a regulation basketball.

  • @johnnyarks It's a little hard on the knees, so I don't do it frequently, maybe once every 10 days or so :)

  • Im 18 out of shape disabled and probably can't use the p90x i learned to walk when i was 14 any suggestions trying to get in shape before swimming season

  • @MarcoantonioDuenas why don't you consider using the pool to get into shape for the actual swimming season? there are many benefits to exercising in the pool!

  • @XcellentFitness i do i just feel like its doing no good especially since i cant use my legs :/ i swim with just my arms my time is 5:15 for 100 yrds

  • Good job!

  • @mrthabosss Thanks! :)

  • wow just got the p90 x. first week is impossible >:O

  • @TheBMAN541 Do Not Quit! It'll all be worth it by the end - trust me!

  • @XcellentFitness who said i was ??? LOL

  • @TheBMAN541 atta boy!

  • That is super impressive. I know how much work it takes. Great job!

  • @epiphonerox Thanks a lot! :)

  • sup man i had a question, since im on like day 120 and phase 1 i skipped plyo cause i tried gaining weight so i cut cardio which didnt work lol. but im doin plyo again but i wont get a weighted vest until probably around phase 3, if i use the vest for plyo/legs and back 3 times that week how much would i improve on dunking? i get close to rim /skid it already right now. i just really want to be able to DUNK!

  • @0chump0 I think it'll help you immeasurably! I'm 38 and only 5'11" but I can dunk a volleyball now...I could prob dunk a basketball, but I just can't palm it :(

  • @FarrellMadelaine18 thanks!

  • I have p90x and I'm on week 5 day 6 right now. p90x is so hard! Im not even out of shape! I'm 14 years old and this stuff is exciting! XcellentFitness is a motivator for me now! I wasn't following the nutrition guide but now I'm starting to because it's summer now and it's easier. I haven't seen any changes and im about to give up but now thanks to you and thinking about my results i will go thru it and give it my all! THANKS

  • @MasterMagician97 Keep me posted, I'd love to follow your progress :)

  • I love it man... absolutely love it. Your an animal.

  • @Sh4dowProductions Thanks haha!

  • Rock on. I just got the p90x.

46 years old and way out of shape. Im gonna go one day at a time

  • @TheCrashdawg Just do your best, whatever it is, each day. If you do, you'll be shocked by what happens my friend :)

  • @kazarkas1993 Thanks so much for the kind words - you won't believe how you look in just 90 days if you give it your all :)

  • did you follow the food plan or just eat healthier? your video made me go back and try p90x again.. great job by the way

  • @rollnthnda Thanks - I followed the recommended ratios really closely (50/30/20). As far as the foods, I did my own thing, mostly due to my busy lifestyle - check out my entire diet - all the foods, all the nutritional values and all of my supplements on my website, xcellentfitness . com :)

  • You are such an inspiration!

I want to lose 20 pounds which I think is impossible, but now that I see that you did it, i feel like i can as well.

  • @KuRiDoll Of course you can do it! You have to CHOOSE to my friend!

  • how much did that 40pound vest cost you man?/

  • @0chump0 It was $79 bucks at my local sporting goods store - get a washable one for sure!

  • anyone wanting to do this i highly advice that besides being fit you have good sense of balance and landing, you can easily take out your knees or back doing this. You will learn that through P90x, just for anyone wanting to do it for sport careful.

  • @DragonSniper7 Yes I agree, be careful peeps!

  • "Yeah, that's difficult." Hahaha......love it!

  • @richisfitdotcom It is! :)

  • @XcellentFitness I want this program. because i need the confidence to believe in myself again. I need a mentor to help me out. I don't go to gyms because they feel so awkward when there's people around and know one to help me. Its like just skipping a grade. You inspired to take on this changelle. Thanks :)

  • @TheBMAN541 That's great my friend, thanks. If you do need any help, just let me know :)

  • i Start my journey today........

  • @LifeStyleOverDosed Good luck! WOuld be happy to help you, lemme know! :)

  • no offense, i mean i think what your doing is amazing, but just to point out, 20 inches really isnt that high.........

  • @ladyanna13 yeah, but I was clearing the bench by another 20 inches ;))

  • @XcellentFitness plus wearing a 40 pound vest...bravo, i hope soon i can get p90x hopefully i'm not too young!

  • @ryan2coolforu I say 16 is an acceptable age to start....the same age you can play contact high school football..

  • @XcellentFitness I started at 16 and finished a round of p90x when i was 17 and im still alive haha. i love it

  • Thats awsome im on week 2 and alredy starting to see some muscle

  • @cisco385 Awesome - the best stuff is yet to come too!

  • @XcellentFitness WOw dude your ripped xD. you just need to follow the excersises?

  • @TheBMAN541 Yes, that's all I did :)

  • @XcellentFitness

    what about the diet?

  • @chris01659 Hi! My diet, which is a little of the P90X Nutrition Plan and a little of my own thing, is listed on my website under the Coach's Corner section in an article called "P90X Nutrition: My Core Foods." xcellentfitness . com

  • Damn thats really insane, I wanna go do this now

  • @ThinkHardHD Just be careful and don't do it too much - it's a little rough on the knees. I only do it every other week or so :)

  • Yo check out my video bruh! I have a question about reps with like pull ups and stuff, i started p90x all over again and for some reason i can't keep up with what I USED TO DO. I don't get it at all lol. i just took muscle milk recently like for 6 straight days , any suggestions?? i'm taking in more calories too

  • @0chump0 Try assisted reps to build your strength back up to where it was before - it shouldn't take long :)

  • yo i have 4 more days then im done with p90x! i'm going to get a weighted vest like you when i restart p90x all over. have you tried using the weighted vest for pull ups or any upper body workout? i'm going to try that on my second round, also i'll be puttin up a vid of my results lol

  • @0chump0 Yes Sir, I wear/wore the weighted vest during all the P90X routines my 2nd time through the program :)

  • Trever. It ain't about what you can bench. It's about overall fitness.

  • @mikecazzx Agreed, 100%

  • This seems like too much of a modification. On the other hand I can't think of anything hard enough to make up for this move.

  • @mikecazzx it's a little hard on the knees, so I don't do it regularly...every couple weeks or so :)

  • so when you wore the vest on legs and back, did you ever use extra weight while working on legs? even on wall squats?

  • @0chump0 No, the extra 40 pounds from the weighted vest was enough!

  • I am 15 6'4" and 260 lbs. i recently had a surgery so i couldnt work out for about 3 months. I weighed 235 before the surgery and could bench 200 and i could squat 475 lbs. I started working out again recently and can barely bench 160 and can only squat 325. would this help me get back to what i was at or even better?

  • @TreverPrecht54 Yes Sir it will help you! Just commit for 90 days and you won't believe what happens!

  • yo its me again lol, i asked about the dunking question. i am barley getting rim and i have 2 more days then its my last week of phase 3! what else can i do to make my "hops" better for bball? my legs are way weaker than my upper body because i have so much more muscle upper body than my lower body lol.

  • @0chump0 Consider wearing a weighted vest for Plyometrics and Legs day - it'll add a whole new dimension to the workouts!

  • I'm doing that when sumer starts , I will make a video my self . Right now I'm thin and want muscle badly :)

  • @Modifiedmortal Send me the vid's link when you're done!

  • @4gentFrank Yes it is - it is quite detailed and fairly easy to follow. :)

  • i am 15 164pounds 5'8 whould this work four me

  • @anime2841 Without a doubt :)

  • I'm 26. Do you think it's too late for me to get in shape? I feel like a bag of lard

  • @hellapinoy6969 Nope, not at all! I was a 37 y/o bag of lard when I got started!

  • Well I am 395 pounds and 6'3" and am just now starting p90x so we shall see how I do

  • @Iceknight5 I'll be pulling for ya brother! Let me know if you need any help :)

  • LOL. I hoped to see you fall over that bench, I'd laugh so hard that I'd shit all colors of the rainbow XD

  • @ZijnErNogNamenOver but I didn't!

  • Can't be good on the knees.

  • @tmmullenhevey Yes Sir, it can be a little hard, which is why I don't do it very often!

  • hey, im 16 and im overweight, and my friend has been telling me to do the p90x, i have a very low metabolism and gain weight everytime i eat, will this workout work for me? and how about the food guide? do i follow it exactly or should i add some bars or shakes or something?

    thanks in advance.

  • @JoshTalksApple I feel like it will help you exponentially! Why? Because it's not JUST an exercise program, but rather a nutritional program as well that helps to "reset" your metabolism.

  • @Xme2times Thanks man! Just stick with the program and give it your best, everyday. I'm NOT special, so ANYBODY can achieve the same things I did. That's the truth. :)

  • natural or supplements?

  • @slickrick995 Ha! Supplements all the way my friend - I could never hit my nutritional goals on just "real" food alone. I'd estimate I do about 60% "real food" and 40% supplements (bars, shakes, etc). Thanks!

  • Hey, really good job! i was really impressed.. i'm 17 years old and i go to the gym 3 times a week and another 2 times a week spinning, iv'e been trying to gain more weight to build more muscle but im stuck at 61.5 kilograms, do you have any advice for me?

  • @ShadyK1ll3r Increase your calories and lift as heavy of weight as possible for 6-8 reps! You'll add muscle density doing that. :)

  • Wow, you went All out. Very nice!!!

Im starting p90x in 3 more days! Im really excited!!!!!

  • @thelosthikerz Thanks! Visit my site, you might find it helpful - diet tips, supplement tips and just "stuff" about the workouts :) xcellentfitness . com

  • would p90 x work for a skinny guy? i need to gain weight and i eat and eat and eat but nothing happens lol

  • @13arton Yes, it's all about your calories - eat more than you burn each day and lift as heavy of weights as you can handle and you'll build muscle (and gain weight)

  • Yo I'm almost done with phase 2 and hopefully I can almost dunk when I'm done with phase 3. Have you ever tried to dunk man? lol

  • @0chump0 I can dunk a volleyball because I can palm it with one hand, but not a basketball. I'm 5'11" and 38 y/o, so I'll take it! :)

  • Man thunmbs ^ if this Guy is just a INSPIRATION!!!!???

  • @barriodeloco1 Thank You! :)

  • Props to you dude. I'm on the program and after my frist month I can see the difference but I got to say I don't think I'll get to that point.

  • @rrobinson001 Hey Double R! Do you think on Day 1, when I was a fatso, I ever thought I'd be doing 30" verticals over a bench wearing 40 extra pounds on my chest?!? No flippin way brother! If I could do it, then SO CAN YOU. Just keep pushing hard and don't get satisified. :)

  • dude, let me tell ya.........I have been doing the X/Insanity/One on Ones/P90X Plus Hybrid for over 2 years now and those weighted vest Towel Hopping is SICK bro. Good job and keep bringing it!!!! Remember......it isn't a 90 day program, it's a way of life!!!!!

  • @marcuspimp Marcus! I couldn't have said it better myself brother - "it's a way of life.." Thanks for the kind words my friend!

  • Very inspirering

  • @MriBackup Thanks! :)

  • Ohhh ...My... God!!! Difficult but pretty incredible :)

  • @lillyy38 thanks! don't do it that often, maybe once per week...kinda hard on the knees!

  • NIce man keep it up u look great!!!!!!

  • @marvothemustang Thanks brother - I like the screen name too! :-)

  • Gonna make an update vid on ur transformation soon. :)

  • @substess I would love to! Since my original video I've done 2 more rounds of P90X and am in my last week of Insanity. I have some clips I've shot - just need to piece it all together! :-) Thank you for your support!!!

  • thank you very much

  • @shakirpeterson13 You're welcome!

  • can anyone please tell me if i need weights for p90x or do i just need the ressitance bands thank you to anyone that can help me thank you

  • @shakirpeterson13 Hey! It's either/or...I def feel like the dumbbell approach leads to better workouts and results, but the exercise bands are adequate as well. Visit my site and read the article "My 10 Must Haves for P90X." xcellentfitness . com

  • hey im 13 and im doin the p90x do i have to still follow the diet?

  • @flyaznboii To get the best results I would def watch your nutrition and give your body what it needs to sustain intense exercise.

  • Yeah, you rock-I'm still jumping towels--we'll see what I can jump in 90 days- my guess is it wont be a bench with 40 pounds strapped to my chest. awesome.

  • @myculpeperlife You never know my friend! Keep going hard and you'll surprise yourself at what you CAN do! :-)

  • yeah, went non stop for a year but Im not real computer savvy- I would love to put together one of those transformation videos like yours. I have mine documented on my FB page.

  • @BRANDOONEY It wasn't hard - if a blockhead like me could make one I'm sure anyone can! I used iMovie and it took about 3 hours. What's your Facebook page - let's connect. I'm @ Facebook . com/joelsyd

  • How many rounds have you done? I have done 4 and I can tell you it took you longer than 90 days to get that. My guess is 4-5.

  • @BRANDOONEY I've done 3 rounds of the X - they're all chronicled on my website - have a look! Cheers!

  • @BRANDOONEY Wow, 4 rounds? Mad respect for you!

  • subscribed, hope you make regular videos now!

  • @LRMMcDonnell will try - it's tough with a job and kids and workouts, blah, blah. I'm going to do one on my diet and supplements, hopefully soon. :-) Thanks!
