@animefin Depends...Tornado has the wedge and get up to 10 miles an hour. Drillzilla can get up to 40 mph but doesn't have good weapons. I'd probably say Drillzilla simply because it has more power.

Totally different. Razer had insufficient time to prepare. The announcement was made with too short of a time to adapt. This clearly illustrates the anomoly in the rrules. Had the Razer been given a few days notice that Tornado may be applying this device, the team would have countered it - all they could do was do a 10 minute workaround to screw a hook on.

What are you talking about? Razer knew about the cage BEFORE Series 6 even began. Did the American series not exist to you?

Extreme Warriors 2 occured...oh, I dunno....at least several months, at most a whole year before Series 6. That's PLENTY of time to prepare. What is your definition of "a few days"? Over 9000?

Basically, it isn't totally different, Razer had plenty of time to prepare, and it clearly illustrates you don't understand Robot Wars history.

Epic fail, 13 black didn't cheat because the srimech became a permanent part of the machine after that; to be used against many bots not just for the purpose of fighting just one!

If tornado had the cage permanently fitted from the start then that would be ok too.

Yea, Tornado was really good but Razer was a class above by far.

does anyone know which show tornado and razor fought after tornado barley beat razor in series 6 even with the cheap and cowardly net "weapon". i remember they had a rematch and the judges acually gave the win to razor but they declined it because their engine blew out in the middle of the fight or something.

That was in Robot Wars Extreme 2 the European Championship. The hooks that Razer used were really effective, dispite all that preperation with the "coward cage" and spinner from Tornado.

There are two robot events called Roaming Robots and Robots Live that feature competitior robots from the show, but besides that no. No more Robot Wars.

This fight was the reason why tornado made that massive frame in the grand final of series 6.

Tornado had fought razor twice, once with the vertical spinning disc, and once (here) with the scoop and lost in the exact same way.

ALL weapons must be declared when robots entered the UK championship. Tornado declared all weapons at the start, otherwise they would NOT have been allowed to compete at all.

Razor might not have known about the frame, but the judges were aware from day 1.

I can see why people think its cheating, but tornado would have lost this fight literally straight away, it wouldnt even be worth watching.
