@MOOSERVERTE It depends do you want a downhill and sliding board or more of a freeriding board? I have the switch and it is great for sliding and downhill but not that good for fliptricks.

I own a Switch and have ridden a Tan Tien. The switch is awesome for downhill and sliding, if thats all you are doing its great. One thing to point out, the switch is a heavy bastard if you are going to be doing some all around riding, sidewalk surfing and just want to hit some hills and do some slides as well the Tan Tien is the better choice and can more than hold its own on the hills. hope it helps.. Hey, im really stuck between the switch and the tan tien because i love stand up slides, which the tan tien is good for, but i also heard that the tan tien is bad for downhiill, which i like to do, please give me some tips, thanks!

@landfuker69 If you want to do standies both boards are good. Derek uses the switch as his sliding board and Raymond uses the tan tien. Tan tien is a little better for standies but bad for downhill. If you want to do downhill get a downhill board

@UCantLiveForever flywheels are fine, but if youre getting some on a dervish, i would personally get the 76mm, wider contact patch and less likely to bite. dervish is a pretty flexy board as well, so if you plan on going dh mostly, i'd look at some stiffer, thicker boards, maybe rayne or landyachtz.

i have a moray and a switch and they are both sick boards for this kind of stuff. The switch is a lot better for faster riding though because of the wheelbase and size. Both are perfect for sliding and board tricks though, its just tough to get used to the nose on the switch. nice video by the way

spud is good if your not that big because it has a smaller wheelbase so its easier to slide. both are stable because of the smooth drop. both sick boards, it just comes down to size of the rider in my eyes

@VitaminGee28 depends on how big you are. dont want to get a spud if its too small for you which if your any bigger than about 5'10" its most likley too big for you. plus the switch has a bigger wb so more stable than the spud. but with the spuds shorter wheelbase it can still be stable while at the same time being a little more agile
