season 2 of Buck Rogers is awful. It's less what they did to Wilma and more than they lost Ardala and stopped with the regular parade of babes that they had in season 1. S2 tries to be like Star Trek or the old BSG and it loses all the fun.

I'm watching the full DVD series now and my 11 year old nephew can't get enough of it. We are on the second season now which looks much more Star Trek like whereas the first season had more of a Flash Gordon likeness.
