I love Abu dhabi, its so much more urban than Dubai. Last time i've been there was 3 years back, I wonder how much its changed since then :/

It's kinda neat that the middle east only really recently started erecting skyscrapers. The result is a landscape that looks almost futuristic.

wrong. Abu dhabi actually started building skyscrapers back in the 1970's, many of the abu dhabi buildings are a good 20-30 year old, only the ones with blue glass are built in the last 10-15 years
