it takes so long because they have to call your doctor as well as your insurance company and verify your prescription. They also have to find out how much your insurance will cover- be patient and go play in the toy isle...that's what I do.

The thing about a pharmacist because they need to not only count your pills, but right out specific instruction for taking it because if they don't...you could die. And also they need to make sure of any other drug interactions of other meds someone may take because docs don't know all that stuff. They are like the last line of defense to your drug interaction death.
