@superskarmony I understand what you're saying. I was dissapointed about how easy the game was, seeing how I had finished the game in 3 days or so. Despite that, it was a really good game (Nintendo never ceases to amaze me!) , and really fun to play as well. :)

The game isn't bad, but some things suck. No triple jump, wall jump too strong, no punches? Then, the first dimention is easy as hell. The second is much better, but the challenge should be based on the levels, instead, you have to beat the same levels over and over again to get the star coins you need to proceed! Having to collect the star coins is absolutely the worst gameplay you can imagine. Imho, both SMB and 64DS are much better for almost everything

I beat the game in about a week, but it's actually really long and gets harder. Then I collected all the star coins for both dimensions. Don't worry though because I just have no life when I get a mario game and the game is great so I recommend it.

I was gonna buy this game, til I heard they had 3 star coins per level, again, the 3 star coins in new super mario bros wii is one of the reason's I hated the game SO bad, that and the recycled music, I was hoping for some classic music in the real levels, but no, only in the special minigame room's, this game is probably better and got plenty of good ratings, but I just don't know, after super mario bros wii I am very careful when selecting mario games.

This is dragging out for me. I've beat the game, done all the special stages, then I had to go through and get all of the gold flags I didn't get. And NOW I have to go and beat every level with the opposite character, even the ones I did. At least I'm on 4 stars now instead of 2.
