It's not a silencer, Fuck how many times do I hear people say 'silencer' a day! All damn day...It's called a Suppressor, root word to Suppress! Suppressors are made not to 'silence' but to suppress the air & gas that come out of the barrel, making it sound other than a discharge. That is why you can still hear a little noise...but I guarantee you will argue with me, & I guarantee I will be right....Trust me.

@RobCombs1 Man, as much as it is a suppressor, and that's what 'professionals' call it, technically, they're silencers. Think about it, there are so many things out there with ridiculously obvious names, like the orange. Suppressors were no different, originally called silencers.

How I was taught & it's what I believe. I'n my life, you have to use proper names. In order not to confuse. I'm just a serious guy, when it comes to my weapons & attachments. Always got to be serious, when dealing with weapons.
