holly shit! that's the same thing me and my wife have been seeing over at manor tx. between parmer and 290. not only have we seen it once but too many times. for some reason when we see it a lot of u.s. force planes fly all over the skys they go around in circles back and forward for hours chasing that light thing. If you don't believe this just keep an eye on the sky and you will see that light, plus the planes going around at a latitude of 500 feet high in the skys.
I live out here two and was my buddys house by stablewood having a late night beer and saw something similar just a couple of weeks ago,

We are on fenske and just saw about 30-40 lights come from ground and diappear ...look like floated away.

I saw this too. It was really high in the sky. I live off Barker-Cypress. WTF.
