One of the great pleasures of my life was growing up listening to Phil Collins music. He is truly a gifted and phenomenal artist. This album was made in his studio in his house at that time. He performed all the instrumental music with the help of some musicians here and there. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. This is one of his best CD's ever.

There are parts that he misses out certain bits, which simply add to the fact he really does do this just for the fact of the music and not stood there as if reading from a script. I actually just read an article last month and he said that he will be working on a new album. I'm kind of disappointed though because he said that it is going to be all Motown covers. Granted, I think he is excellent at making covers but I love his original songs more.

this is way better then the album version. lot stronger in music and feelings. i used to hear this and everyday on the radio as a kid and fell in love with the songs but never realized that this is the phil collins i loved so much. phils music got me into playing music by ears. know i can play anything i hear on the radio, and i ow it to phil. i began with this and another day in paradise.great start for a preteen huh?
