@Sandslash37 Drivers have to pay their own insurance, vehicle maintenance and repairs. A driver gets paid less than minimum wage because they're suppose to be tip. Every delivery cost the driver by the IRS $0.51 a mile. I make a delivery and don't get tip, it costs me money. The delivery fee tacked onto your bill is added by the company to make up for increased costs. It does NOT go to the driver. Yes, I am a delivery driver. If you can't afford $2 for the tip, pick it up yourself.

you blame your stupidity of NOT KNOWING HOW TO GET TO YOU on the driver? All the trouble of finding your house... (which is, I'm sure, poorly visible, no numbers whatsoever)... "Extra 12 cents, you can keep that" ??? I would punch you in the face, that's an insult, you should be lucky that driver behaved like a pro. Next time u could be eating spit, so think twice before insulting a person you don't know

Never mind the fact that the poor guy got lost and you couldn't even give him directions to your own house. If it comes down to it, plan ahead for at least a $3.00 tip or 15% of the bill (whichever is higher). If that means ordering a couple less toppings or skipping the side of cheese bread, then so be it. Never mess with the people who handle your food.

The pizza guy was right. $3.00 is the absolute minimum you should give for any type of food delivery, regardless of delivery fees (they go straight to the store, the driver never sees a penny of it). Your $1.00 tip was an insult, and to top it off you sort of rubbed it in his face ("Here's a dollar for your trouble, it's all I have"). Based on the fact that you knew you had to tip, indicated by the measly dollar and verbal mention of it being a tip, proves how much of a jerk you are.

The pizza guy probably doesnt have a gps. Probably doesnt have a good map at the store. does not know through symbiosis how to get to your house because some other driver has been there. 15% is a tip not $1 or $2. we remember who doesnt tip so dont bitch when we are probably late on purpose. Never cuss at a waiter, youll eat spit.
