Look at that Nudie suit! See how it sparkles in the film? LOVE HANK. He was the king of honky tonk, hands down. Love his tavern songs. Too many favorites to pick just one. Wonder what Jimmie Dean is doing these days besides selling sausage?
I thought I'd heard all of Hank's songs. "Yesterday's Girl" used to be my favorite, but now this one is. Almost everytime I turn on my computer I have to listen to it.
ya, i was looking it up on the net , then found out, sorry for the "mis-imformation", what a loss, i'v got his music on lp's and " YUOTUBE", thanks, Mac

Jimmy lives here in Richmond, VA. Has a nice place on the James River. I believe that this is his wife's hometown.

Didn't this guy do "The night Miss Nancy Ann's hotel burned down"? Late 60's or so.
canoebelue 3 years ago
@canoebelue Tex Williams did Miss Nancy Ann's Hotel. Jimmy may have done it too, but Tex had the hit.
