I love super hornet demo's, they always surprise me. The RAAF just got ours last year so i'm looking forward to seeing a lot more aussie demonstrations.

But can someone please tell me which hurts the most. Negative or Positive G's? I would think that Positive G's hurts the most and Negative would just give you a major headache?

I wasn't an early fan of the F-18E/F, but I am changing my tune.

This is in the same neighborhood as that F-18F in the Farnborough airshow video here on YT.

All demo's should be flown this way. In 1987 the Blue Angels did their 3rd show ever in their "new" F-18's at Griffiss AFB, NY and the solo's were just above the phone lines. We stood on our car roofs and the jet blast when they went vertical right above us made me want that lifestyle badly! 23 yrs later I'm retired Air Force, F-15C and have been flying 777's the past 6 yrs. All thanks to the Blue Angels and their crazy demo back in 1987!

The super hornet is the most maneuverable none thrust vectoring fighter out. I still think the super hornet is better then the F-22

Your right. The Super Hornet is the most agile fighter without thrust vectoring. However. I think you'll need to take another look at fighters with thrust vectoring. The slower they go the more maneuverability they can achieve! Super Hornets can't do power loops for example. But that may change soon. There are plans to install thrust vectoring nozzels on both the F-18E & F models.

Of course, this video isn't about the Hornet, but instead the Super Hornet. When you really look at the differences between the two, you have to conclude that they are two different planes.

The Super Hornet is an awesome airplane. It's what the Hornet should have been all along.

You have to give it to the Navy; it was called the "Super Hornet" to convince congress that it was just an "upgrade" but it is in fact a completely new fighter.

The Super Hornet II is considered to be the stealthiest 4+ Gen fighter (i.e. not F-22/F-35) out there. I think TVC would be a great addition but from what I've read, the SH can already point its nose wherever it wants, pretty much whenever it wants. AFAIK, it's the only US fighter to "kill" an F-22 in mock dogfights
