  • RIP Gary

  • @0:56-1:04 is so on point! Coming from a blues guitarist for 9 year, the licks are so tasteful and pleasing to the ear

  • reading comments from one guitar player to another all I see is arguments about this and that. U Fukr's that leave neg comments, don't u have something better to do, like licking yor own balls, dumb asssses !!

  • 73 seconds of brilliance, great phrasing and notes

  • First I have only heard of Mr. Whitington not to long ago , he is amazing !! But Gary Moore is a legend can do anything on his Guitar he is a monster on his Guitar give him some Respect !!! ;-) Buddy Whitington Shweet playin' awesome !!!! They both make it look so easy !!!

  • he worked hard,,and played guitar very well... get over it..he was one of rory's best mates.let shit go...

  • I dunno who's bashing gary but have some respect. This guy was a legend, an awesome blues and metal gutar player, hard working musician and he just passed away before his time.

If ur young and dissing this guy ur an idiot , if ur old and dissing this guy ur also an idiot but more importantly there's no hope for u. I've been a fan of gary's since the black rose album came out back in the ''70s.

  • this is on google a german court has ordered former Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore to pay damages after ruling the guitar solo in his 1990 hit "Still Got the Blues" had been plagiarized from a German song written in 1974.

A court in the southern city of Munich said on Wednesday the solo in Moore's song was too similar to the one in "Nordrach" by the band Jud's Gallery not to have been copied

  • great....GREETING FROM ITALY

  • I actually think Gary M plays great here. I wish he'd cut the distortion a bit, (and maybe find a vocalist); but his phrasing on guitar when he plays blues - very much Peter Green influenced - is very vocal, very concise, very soulful, and plain nice.

  • 'Tis True - I saw Gary Moore DEAFEN Albert King on stage at Hammersmith -Surprised he didn't hit him over the head with his Les Paul for good measure!

  • i saw a video where albert collins was playin with gary moore. moore was steppin all over alberts toes, playin a million notes. albert could hit one note and blow his ass out of the water. always liked how stevie could burn it down, but he always showed respect for his heroes.

  • i saw gary moore on this tour he was fucking rubbish he was piss up he told buddys bass player to fuck off he was that piss up he could not play and had to use a backing tape . when the he stoped playing the music was still playing . what a fucking asshole gary moore is . and he treats fans like shit

  • Love this Buddy! Thanks!

  • Great stuff, but what happened to Buddy's solo?????

  • Man, I LOVE Gary Moore's playing style.

  • Hey friends and fans of Gary! yorksfarmer and yorkshiretractors is the same person. He goes to every video about Gary and craps him. These two accounts are one guy who really hates Gary for some reason. Just keep this in mind.

Hello from Ukrainian fans of Moore!

  • awesome

  • LOL

  • Probably the best guitarists in the world nowadays

  • @cristianocollarin Gotta agree with you on that one dude!

  • @bille77 Envy of their playing? Me too =)

  • Gary Moore just takes it always to a new level.

  • Dude, what is your problem? You got some serious issues..man, don't be hatin'. I dare you to get up the stage with Mr. Moore, and see if you can put your money where your mouth is. Within 5 minutes he'd make your balls hide up into your belly and you'd scamper off in shame. Both are tremendous guitar players.

  • Kinda reminds me of how many guitar players to screw in a light bulb. Answer: only one, but a room full of others that think they can do it better.

  • Apparently he was in a good mood on the recent tour and even brought his son Jack on to jam

  • saw gary moore with buddy . buddy was good gary moore was crap . all he did was swear at the fans and the band . he even told the bass player to fuck off 3 times the mans a twat

  • Yes i saw Gary Moore this year aswell, and yes he was crap and yes it is true he did tell the bassman to f---- off, and also said the same to the fans. What a tosser Gary Moore has became.

  • hi,sone geile mucke ,die gehört auf ein album echt tolle musik

  • I love how buddy kinda says "fuck off wanker" at the end by quoting "Dixie". Moore use to be a decent player, but for the last 10 years or so all he seems to want to do is show off. Reminds me of Pat Travers. No substance, just snow'em with notes.

  • Gary Is the man!!!!!

  • il est loin le temp ou il jouer avec phil lynott ,mais il est encore la :)

  • Two different but great players

  • Nice one chetbelforter I was at the civic hall last night and magic guitar playing but no great variety in the set. Frankly, the band looked a bit bored in my opinion. I think old Gary needs a bit of a re-think....Buddy Whittington was streets ahead!!

  • Totaly agree with your comment the past couple of times of seeing Gary Moore hes been a right grumpy sod thought Buddy was great

  • I agree also. I saw Gary and Buddy at Folkestone a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to see Buddy again....

  • I've been into Gary Moore for over 30 years and seen him live more times than I can count but after seeing him at Bristol Colston Hall last night and having to listen to his foulmouth rantings I won't be spending any more money on tickets to see him.Brilliant guitarist but he hasn't got a clue how to handle an audience.

I took my wife and she was disgusted. If I wanted to hear the c- word I would have took her to see Chubby Brown!!!

  • What happened? What was he ranting about?

  • He got really shitty about people shouting out for old rock stuff he used to do such as Back on the streets. He also seemed to be annoyed that people wouldn't stand up etc.. It's such a shame he acts like this as he really is an amazing player.

  • Had no idea he was like that,im quite shocked.Has he always behaved like this?? Was thinking of catching him live one day but i think i`ll stick to his cds.A shame indeed

  • I saw him on sunday he was very good, alot better than gary moore who he was supporting at leeds, it is the 4th time i have seen gary moore and the worst, he seemed self indulgent as if he was playing for his self, the rifts were going on far too long, at one time 17min and seemed completly pointless, he never introduced the band, .

  • i still dont know who they are? at one point he says i havent paid to see you, you have paid to see me and shut the fuck up, and nobody knew why. I would be interested to know what anybody else who was there thought of it.

  • me and the folk i was with usally buy t-shirts and programmes but i thought he could get stuffed i was not spending any more money on him. I first saw him in 1979 playing with thin lizzy and i have got all his uk albums, i feel upset he behaved this way

  • toooo short!!!!!

  • Two completely differing players but wonderful and complementary.

    lovely stuff

    Jeff Makor

  • gary what a player.

  • Beach ur full of shit u wanker!

  • Damn, just when I started tappin my foot, it's over.

  • 2 Legends, As i keep saying, GARY MOORE = GOD, Loved him for 30 yrs. xxxxxxxxxx

  • C'mon Buddy, forget about poor Moore, I'll come to see ya to the Nancy Jazz Pulsations on 11th oct.!

  • Beachhutblues

go and get yourself some desperate girl and get laid, also try and find yourself some friends whilst you are at it. You come across as a bitter, ill informed and pathetic underachiever.

  • Never heard of you Pal.

    Moore is a GREAT guitarist.

If you can't admit that through pure dislike you are pitiful.

Last time I saw him 2000 people were there.

    Where can I catch you?

  • Yes, I've heard he can be a bit of a cunt to people he didn't particularly like -- then we're all a bit like that aren't we? I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on the playing front, though I would suggest most guitarist think he's quite good! Certainly Jeff Beck did when I asked him a few years back. Have a nice day Mr Angry.

  • Love Buddy. Moore is playing smooth and tasty too!

  • Moore is sensational. He's a rock-blues player - get over it! It's called tall poppy syndrome - because he's a success some try to cut him down.

  • Gary Moore is an arsehole trying to re-invent himself yet again because he found himself up a blind alley of self-indulgent face-gurning "rock".

His finger tremelo is totally over the top and he doesnt seem to be able to play without tons of distortion.

He should go back to listening to his "freind" Peter Green (who he stitched up) to find out what tasteful blues playing is REALLY ALL ABOUT.

  • Guess you don't know much about playing the guitar then matey?

  • get lost moore--this guy eats you alive--go back to your boring rock shit ! A disgrace to blues ! Rave on Buddy, and don't waste any more time on this self indulgent glamour puss!

  • 2 of my all time favourite guitar players!

  • Virtuoso as ever from GM. He's looking well. NM

  • Gary Moore. A musician who just gets better with time. And who better to jam with than the mighty Buddy.
