I think we are living in a strange and unhappy world. The world of your parents and their parents was a nicer place to be in. Today's young people are very rich and get better off every generation. They go to universities and travel abroad and have everything but are not happy and riot in the streets. What they haven't got is a mother in the home and a father who provides for them and spends time with them. The result is they are unbalanced.

hern you have made very valid points especially the comments about parents. My Mom was at home when I was in school however my kids dont get the luxury because we cannot afford it. I agree about the material wealth, but when it comes to wealth of owning a home for your family it is I think more expensive than what my parents went through just ten years ago. There is not the jobs here anymore that allow for one member of the family to stay home and raise the kids. Big Problem!

I'm grateful for the memories I have of my family and feeling there was someone there for me who really was interested in my success and (and failures!)
