  • if god is almighty, he doesn't need ur singing to hear u better, and less he needs greek cultures to be imbued wif his to make his teaching more effective

  • @chwuwd Maybe it's that we need to sing to God. God made us music-makers.

  • Durch Zufall entdeckt

    Mit Freude gehoert

Und gleich zu meinen Favorites geschickt ;o)

Vielen Dank fuer diese schoene Aufnahme!

  • I really like this Christus Vincit, the harmony, the organ, everyting.

  • Proud to be a Catholic!

  • pragtig en wonderskoon!

  • Ein Danke schon Wunderbahr (aus der Niederlande afra1439

  • mirabile, magnifico, incantevole, seducente, eccezionale, prodigioso, affascinante, splendido, brillante.

  • Beautiful singing and very good video quality.

    Thanks.

  • Wow! These young male Catholic choristers are like young priests and cardinals! May they be like the clergy that watched them!

  • I'd rather say: may the clergy that watched them be like them... (Matth. 18,3)!

  • jeah:)

  • q hermoso

  • The REGENSBURGER DOMSPATZEN are going to sing a Birthday Concert for

GEORG RATZINGER on the 17th of January 2009 in Rome at the Sistine

Chapel. It is the 85th birthday of the older brother of POPE BENEDIKT

XVI, who also is going to visit the concert. Georg Ratzinger was the

director of the Domspatzen from 1964 until 1994. They are going to

sing the c-minor Mass from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

  • A fool says "god isn't real".

  • May God forgive you for what you wrote, m1o1n

  • Wunderbar. Vergelts Gott. AMDG. Christus vincit vere. Amen.

  • obviously all of you know just about nothing about music... it sounds totally horrible.... I've heard this choir singing way better...

  • stupid! they sing very well at every time because the musical quality is due to an individual trainement of the choristers!

And I know a lot about music: I play cello and organ and I sing in one of the better boyschoir in france since the age of 9!

  • Beatiful thanks ...

    Vive Benoit XVI

  • May the Holy Catholic Church shine forever more the glory of God into the sinful world.

  • Peaceful. I love it very much. May God be praised, honoured and glorified forever. Amen.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Welldone.

  • Beautiful! What harmony- Unlike the Hilary Hahn display at the 2007 concert- where Pope Benedict started to fall asleep- here he is genuinely interested. Danke Sehr!

  • so whatever these catholics do is only an expression of what they believe.

same is through with those none catholics please STOP condemning the catholics in doing these ceremmonies even you guys have your own ceremonies.

just do your thing. what is right and just.

    god bless us all

  • if anybody is no that happy with what catholics do, that's thier probelm. its not the catholics problem anymore.

what is important you you what is right. ceremonies are only a part of expressing one's faith

  • "Exited" is a word not to use in the context of His Holyness! His Holyness seemed to be very "touched". (That's by the way the correct translation of "bewegt"...and that's what he said at the end! The pope loves the Regensburger Domspatzen. His brother was a very long time their choir director!

  • I know about his brother^^ (he's in the audience) and I'm no Catholic so the pope doesn't mean anything to me... must've been special to the Domspatzen anyway

  • But you should know that important persons don't show emotions like "ordinary people" ;) And I only wanted to say that you're translation of "bewegt" was not correct ;)

  • Correct translation of "bewegt" is "moved".

  • "touched" and "moved" are synonyms in English in this context, so either are acceptable translations. There are often no exact one to one correlations in different languages so a certain "poetic license" is allowed.

  • Looking forward to finding on Youtube In convertendo, my personal all time favorite composition of Jules Van nuffel.

  • Nice singing. Sleaveless cottas?

  • I don't agree to what he said at the end... the audience didn't seem to be too excited... the pope neither ;) anyway, this is a great piece, never heard of that composer. thanks for posting this
