This set isnt terrbible, but It seems like he built this set JUST to take down a blissey Which in my opinion isnt smart. Magmortar has a good Move pool, its very open and should be used as such.

hmmmm magmortar is my favourite pokemon, the magmortar in this vid has got good sp.atk though iits speed sucks, considering it has the perfect iv and ev possibility due to its nature and habit not to mention it had pokerus, its sp.atk is 13 off maximum which shows it wasn't raised well, magmortar's defense is shocking to say the least so if it gets hit..... it dies thats why its speeds important too.

If they had stealth rocks up, and u subbed then attacked with a life orb then u would be nearly dead. Also since u are slow they could also outspeed u and kill you easily since the defense on magmortar is crap he wouldnt stand a chance if he didnt get his sub up therefore u have to depend on them switching out. Still its attack and sp atk are nice.

My concern about this pokemon is its defence,special defence and speed. if it lacks the speed it will not stand a chance of even pulling off his purpose.and because of its speed being low and stone edge,surf, etc will probaly 0hk0 it.

well focus blast has less power then focus punch. also less accuracy. onto of that clearly you dont read the intensions of this magmortar, it is meant to counter blisseys who usually switch into magmortar thinking its only got special attack moves ( which focus blast is ). also he put evs into att and special att so he can cover both specfic special and pyshical walls. so because of his nature and ev placements its only natural his speed will be low....duhh

I like this set, but I do see a small flaw in it. With Substiute, Life Orb, AND Magmortar's 25% damage due to Stealth Rock, he isn't going to last really long imo. To me, it looks like he'll get one or two shots max at doing his thing, unless you have Wish support from something like Vaporeon.

But still, I like the set, plus your intro is so awesome >:D.

Move the HP EV's into speed and you'll outspeed standard Bulky Gyara before it Dragon Dances. =]] Otherwise it outspeeds and KO's with Waterfall. And if you're HP IV was 3 IV's lower, you could attack 11 times while taking life orb damage. =]]
