Zep is still Zep and Bob's been older than his voice should have been since 1976 . . . listen to him here. His voice cracks all to shit at the top end because he blew it out in the late 70's between junk, booze and a nasty car crash and singing way to hard through really shitty PA's for many years. Him, Ian Gillan - same damage but still the coolest vocalists to ever prowl a stage
oh well. it's not Robert's best night for this tune. Usually toward the beginning of the set, R.O is a warm up for his power range. On this night his voice is cracking. He nailed it in Boston and many other locations on the mammoth 1995 World Tour. Not to mention solo with Strange Sensations and the Led Zep reunion of 2007.
yeah i dont really like plants vocals in this he sings it weird...i like a little improvisation but he shouldve just sang it the way it is on the original
Yeah, he should use several mutli pitch controllers with midi vocals that are actually synth like Hannah Montana, Brittany and several other well known modern vocalist that never have consistent vocals.
Just another fuck stick that can't understand sarcasim. I was commenting on another post who was bashing his vocals. So before you ride your high horse down some roads you shouldn't be on fucking read.
Do you know where and why JRR Tolkien formed his Ideas of Hobbit and other stories????? On the front lines of World War One, in the trenches, to releive boredom, horror.. This is full circle stuff here people... He was a devout Roman Catholic. Tolkien was a close friend of C. S. Lewis; they were both members of the informal literary discussion group known as the Inklings.
In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth, Mordor is the dwelling place of Sauron, in the southeast of Middle-earth to the East of Anduin, the great river. Frodo and Sam went there to destroy the One Ring. Mordor was unique because of the three enormous mountain ridges surrounding it, from the North, from the West and from the South.
In Jewish tradition, the golem is most widely known as an artificial creature created by magic, often to serve its creator. The word "golem" appears only once in the Bible (Psalms139:16).
In Hebrew, "golem" stands for "shapeless mass." The Talmud uses the word as "unformed" or "imperfect" and according to Talmudic legend, Adam is called "golem," meaning "body without a soul" (Sanhedrin 38b) for the first 12 hours of his existence. The golem appears in other places in the Talmud as well. One legend says the prophet Jeremiah made a golem However, some mystics believe the creation of a golem has symbolic meaning only, like a spiritual experience following a religious rite.
