Anderson Cooper says that, because he doesn't like leaning either way. He says as an anchor he tries to stay neutral, and just report it and not push his views on people when they watch the news. Now, his personal perspectives come out more when he is on talk shows and when he co-host things like Live: Regis and Kelly, because they are more entertainment than news, so he is more free with his views than on CNN.

That is the problem, not with the media, but with Americans in general. By the time we get the information that is regurgitated by tv, print, and Web media, politicans, etc, it is past quintary level.

Especially since technology makes it so easy to do so, very few people EVER go to primary sources to get their information- we would rather let others do that for us.

Then we wonder, or never realize, the degree of manipulation and mis-information.

The worst part, as said by the "anchor", is the fact that noone seems to recognize the propoganda that goes into these networks. We veiwers literally sit, watch, and don't question. As long as it's something we want to hear, we as viewers won't question what's being said.

CNN IS a republican news network so of course it'll be biased and in support of the Republicans. He's merely pointing out how biased news networks have become in the last 8 or 9 years.
