  • It was great, but TBH sounds cheesy now. Don't forget that Kenny was actually sacked for taking the mick out of that religious garbage, well they should have ditched that at the earliest opportunity. And the nightime reception would have been so much better if only they hadn't straddled channels. That whistle gave me a headache. Luckily all the interfering stations closed down before John Peel came on.

  • thank you for this post

  • those were the days..!

  • Thanks Bob for loading this enjoyed it.

It brought back good times and good music.

I was a big fan of London I've got the cd's of the last day of Radio London.

    Great

  • Thank you Bob for uploading this, but if you will go wonderfulradiolondon.info you will discover that Philip Birch lied about the origins of WRL and the origins of Caroline. I am the historian of the Don Pierson archives which are in the process of being donated to a radio library and museum in Norway. I knew him, worked with him and the same is true of Alan Crawford, Ben Toney and several others. The story told by Birch about London and Caroline is total fiction.

  • Wonderful Radio London : Big L 266 was British best music station in the early sixties....

thank u Philip for uploading this...marvellous

  • BIG L WAS MY OFFSHORE CHOICE.
