@xDarkn3ssxBlad3x actually he's a guy, his name is Eugene (adopted brother) and he's playing on the Simmons Electronic Drums. Those drums were quite popular and frequently used in the 1980's. I sometimes wish these instruments would make a comeback so everybody can play with them again.
When I was a Jr. or Sr. in high school, I was at a book store with my girlfriend, Lisa, in the Northtown Mall where the cities Blaine, Coon Rapids and Spring Lake Park come together in Minnesota.I was waiting in line when Lisa points to these 3 or 4 girls in front of us, "Do you know who that is?" I told her no. "The Jets" she says. You're going to hate what I said next, "So". Sorry. I've never been star struck. Shaking hands with a Medal of Honor recipiant, that's more like it. Did that in 1990
Jackdraw51, what a daft comment from you. What makes you think that Eddie is bollocks? Eddie is playing the synth while dancing and of course it is very hard to do 2 things at once, let alone 3 things at once (percussion, dancing, synth). It's not easy, is it?
The Jets has to be my best group of all time because of their music, dance moves was unmatchable to anything we had seen in the 80s.
the lead singer was who i had a lil thang 4 even though i am a gay black woman i did she was it 4 me when i was a teenager, i am 36 now but she was a gr8 singer, i just love the jets
I love this song! This really is a unique performance in that every bit of the music you hear is actually being performed live without a recording backing them up. Really awesome!
Fancy footwork there :) LUUUUv The Jets Forever!. Did u know I was one crazy fan. I cried when I couldnt go to their concert in 88, and I had a crush on Elizabeth too. Real good times fro the Legendary Jets. I saw their new website Sisters too and its beautiful, the song n all :)
In defence of the bands that were there: Unless YOU were there, you can not make such a blanket statement about any of them. Yes, cocaine was and still is a major problem in the music business, but it is unfair, even jokingly, to accuse these at this particular show.
@TurkBack2 , your comment is an idiotic generalization. The Jets members are religious and they never did alcohol nor drugs upto today.
I saw their concerts when they came home to Tonga in 1989. It was an awesome experience to me as a kid. The first time I've ever been to a rock/pop concert. The Jets concerts were all free. They had a few there.
Is that the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis? From the blue color of the seats, configuration and the fact that Indy had one of the few domes like that back then I think that's what it is. It's now the RCA dome where the Colts play until 2008. I couldn't really see any banner ads to tell for sure. If you have any other footage let me know I may be able to confirm it.

Dancing, playing their own instruments, and singing LIVE! Most of today's lousy pop stars could learn something from this.

The irony of a smoke-free concert is the bands were all doing lines of blow backstage.
