They were temporarily wiped out, but luckily they are back now. My favorite 16 player server still has everything like it did, though it's a bit more laggy and says that there's only 8 people in the game when you see it listed (in the game you can easily count more, though).

I think you meant a "dedicated server", and yes, I must say that the ONLY time I've played on a nondedicated server was with Criken or using my own server for acting and recording. I don't know anyone who would intentionally play on a nondedicated server unless it was for something like filming, cheating, or random stuff :P
