Annnnnnd, I'm one of those guys who played portal for the puzzles.. and I was also one of those guys that was deeply let down by the serious lack of good puzzles in it. So, I will probably grab this game sometime to see how it holds up. I'm glad you're NOT good at puzzles, because watching someone solve a puzzle just isn't the same as solving it yourself. ;)

One of the possible reasons TB gets the puzzles in QUBE and not in Portal 2 (which by the way I love to bits) is because it works off of a very simple bunch of blocks all of which TB can clearly see in a 3-D environment. In Portal the ability to link two points via portals literally adds another dimension to the layout which doesn't always have a clear path with its many portal-able panels and "tools" that are not always clear with how you use them compared to QUBE's white room where the "tools

The puzzles seem simpler than portal's because you can't think with portals... plain and simple. You can easily visualize how these blocks will interact with each other, but portal requires insight. e.g.: "I need to get up to that ledge. I can place a portal here, but now I need to get enough momentum to launch me from that portal to that ledge".

I've yet to play this, but judging by the way this opens I would guess that somewhere in the game it will suddenly reveal whats actually going on. Its not quote-o-rama like Portal maybe, but a slower, more subtle pace does not go to say that everything is 100% clear right away.

I think there is one mayor problém with this game TB forgot to mentoin, it has only nine levels from what can I tell. Whitout having any custom lever maker this game can lack content preaty bad. Dear TB. I advise you to do a full playthrough of this game because it will change your opinion of it. You have merely played the "Tutorial" of this game. It becomes increasingly more interesting as it introduces more concepts, and trust me it gets very complicated. Seing you play makes me wonder how well you will cope with the really hard puzzels, and if you actually could make it to the end. In fact I don't only advise you to play the game, but I CHALLENGE YOU TO COMPLETE IT!
