As long as your paint on the car is ok and not peeling there is no reason to goto bare metal. Just block sand what you got and reprime, sealer, base , clear done...

thats not a lt1 from vet can tell by the cheap valve covers trans am or camero

Those are Stock CORVETTE Aluminum valve covers. Not stamped steel trans am or cameros. Google a 1992 LT1 and you will see. Another way to tell ( since you didnt notice) is the crossover on the fuel rail is on the rear of the intake....corvette only. Do a little research next time.

I have a 71 convertible skylark that I was trying to keep all original for resale value, but nobody is going to pay 18K in this ressesion. So I'm going to do the lt!1 and 4L60-e swap and I'm going to go 4 wheel disc brakes . I guess it will be "resto mod"

There is only 5 little nuts holding the windows in....I took them off so I could paint the car.

Base / Clearcoat Nason Base and HP Bodyshop Clear. It was sprayed in a booth but the bodywork was done at home in the garage.
