Everything Fresco talks about was anticipated by Buckminster Fuller. I have read Fuller's work extensively and never encountered any reference to phrenology, including in his early works. Fuller thought very little of industrial designers like Fresco, however. I suspect Fuller was pulling Fresco's leg. Fresco's attitude to technocracy is also very peculiar, since Fresco himself is a technocrat.

Fresco is dishonest about this. Technocracy Inc. was the first fully integrated membership group, most likely in the U.S. and that was in 1934.

For some reason Fresco is still competing with the people he got his ideas from... the technocrats.

Hey, I discovered the workings of a wing simply by studying the shape while keeping in mind the concepts of high and low pressure as well as hydro dynamics (which also deals with high and low pressure, but with inertia as well). I have listened to a lot of Fresco's interviews and I have failed to notice anything to justify the claim that his motives are primarily ego-based.

We were a fully integrated membership organization from 1918 on... and in 1934 organized officially that way. In the early thirties as now people could do as they pleased. On an Indian reservation in the 1930's there were mostly Indians. Understand? Fresco is grandstanding his ego. He is making a case obviously for being 'greater'. Its pretty sad. There is no fool like an old fool. Fresco wants to be guru. Bullshit aside.

No, he's not grandstanding his ego. That's the whole point. It's not about ego, competition, recognition all unhelpful social by products of this system. He's about promoting a systems approach in allignment with "new social values" that don't promote such egoist behaviors.

He doesn't advocate being "greater" than anybody. He deems all people equal.

actually I would think that he mean to say that all people have the same fundamental needs, but because we are all different, we are able to have differing interpretations of the same subjects. Allowing ourselves to recognize the importance of considering numerous perspectives keep the mind open to the problems which people encounter while trying to critique a system such as TVP.

Fresco is full of shit. Technocracy under Howard Scott was probably the first racially integrated group in the United States and that was in the early 30's. Plus some of the info. collated for the energy survey came from a black college, Tuskegee. There were black sections of technocrats in Chicago... there were Hispanic sections in Colorado. There were Indian sections in Arizona.

There was NO racial bullshit involved in the Technocracy technate movement or design.

You may be a member of a cult. Cults with 'members' act as a closed loop and reinforce each other within the cult as to policy and direction.

In that way they make a fake consensus that reinforces the cult with a belief system. Google 'History and Purpose of Technocracy' . Fresco learned everything he knew from that group... then turned it into a form of egomongering cult. Sad really.
