  • I am a true ""CHICAGO"" fan!!! Wish there was more on the web. Please come to N.C. Charlotte Area.I have seen you every time @ Charlotte,I Love You Chicago & Your Horns!!!Great Memories!!!

  • Bill Champlin couldn't sing if I sung for him. He sucks and runied Chicago.

  • Bill Rocks... Chicago was better because of him!!!!!

  • Bill is great!

  • Listen Radio Música para Mimos. The Best Songs of Love . Its Great .!!! (search in Google)

  • Just read Seraphines\'s book and Ihave NO respect for Chicago anymore.

  • champlin still doesn't belong in the band. never did, never will.

  • @miramar101 Don't talk crap.

  • Why are you saying the quality is bad? I think it's fine for something from 1989. Audio is great.

  • The best version of In The Midnight Hour I have ever heard. Thanks!

  • The sound is so processed any soul the song once had is stripped out... let this be a lesson that just because you can, doesn't mean you should. This song could be in a children's educational math video, that's how sterile it is.

  • This had to Jason Scheff first year with the band.

  • 1986 was his first but still very early in his career with the band.

  • ami m gustan mucho !!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey this is from 1989. The year that Danny lost his drum chops, at least according to some band members. Guess that wasn't true as he is kickin' ass in his usual way.

  • I was thinking the exact same thing...kicking ass as always.

  • @luke3jes

Indeed, in his autobiography he says that this specific concert was one of the "inconsistent" performances that got him into trouble with the bandmates. I agree, it's hard to see in the two tunes posted here on youtube from this concert.

  • Bill is talented but he just tries too freaking hard! Those chops are so 70's, with all the "children" stuff.

  • Uh, yeah, but...the song is so '60's, with all the Wilson Pickett stuff...so maybe the "'70's chops" might just be pretty near appropriate in this case...

    Peace,

    Toby

  • Good point, Toby.

  • Yes it was at a rodeo....but....The Houston livestock show and rodeo...the largest in the world.....Houston Astrodome. probably around 35 thousand people there.

  • Jimmy Pankow is a prissy Ass bitch,I bet he'd hold one between the ass checks,Balls Deep!

  • I think this song sucks

  • WOOOOOHAAA!!!

  • ehhhhhhh its danny on drums!!!

  • A multi-instrumentalist at heart: guitar around the neck, keys at the hands. Nice, Bill!

  • Bill doin' what he does best! Blowin' ya away! Love the "put your hands together children" line! TOTALLY Champlin...gotta LOVE it!!

    Thanks for sharing this!

  • Bill doin' what he does best... which is playin' and singin' his heart out, with other like-minded musicians,... just like he's been for the 49 years since many of us first met him. Hello Edna....

  • Bill is the coolest of the cool.

  • Bill could sing "Mary Had A Little Lamb" and I would swoon. Thanks for sharing that rare vid with us. BTW, Bill is freaking great guitar player.

  • This was, I think, my second Chicago show. Ironically, it was at the rodeo in 1987 that I first saw the band. Great show. Thanks for the upload.

  • the quailtys not too bad... great find!
