  • I tried to put all the construction details at the website. The link is in the video description to the right if you are interested.

    Now that it is winter, the trees have dropped their leaves and there is more wind available to the turbine.

    How much higher would you guess the turbine (and anemometer) would have to be raised to get them above the tree tops? I think it would made a big difference....

  • I agree with you that taller is better. I wish I could mount this to the top of a skyscraper or the top of a mountain. My tower is already maxed out as high as I'm willing to go, though, so that I am able to lower it and raise it on my own. My next turbine will be located on a more open area of my property. Thanks for your comment.
