when you did Kh1, that was a bit of a mistake. Your king is too tightly tucked up, and a check on the back-rank and you would not have been very happy at making this video, which shows a loss of yours.

i believe that with this video u were trying to set some basic guidelines on how to play a game of chess,

I however disagree with your castling move,castling the king at the start of the game for no reason is a weak move,because u are not really protecting him,u are making him vulnerable by pinning him down to that side of the board.all black had to do is move down 2 of his pawns towards your king to break his defense.

Just want to say thanks. I have a girlfriend in Indonesia and she has been killing me consistenly. After watching your videos, I have been able to almost break even. She refuses to play checkers with me because I beat her one time. So she had it coming. BTW, your uncle seems like a very nice person. It was nice of him to allow you to film him.

Hi good game. Just a few comments.5.Be2?! a passive move. Better is 5.d4 or 5.Bc4 5...h6? 5...d5= 6.d3?! stronger is 6.d4 7.0-0?! much better is 7.e5 right away. in this opening black can equalize fairly easily with D4! thats why this opening isnt that common at the higher levels. typically players use the najdorf since it has good chances for both sides. grand prix is nice to take them out of book tho.

this is not kings gambit. this is the Grand Prix attack against the sicilian. Kings Gambit is e4, e5, F4, etc.

I just happen to come across this clip and I must say I miss my hometown - especially at the "canto" where there's a sari-sari store, a chess slugfest going on with enthusiastic onlookers around, a pool table not too far away, kids playing and goofin around; jeepneys and tricycles passing by; a halo-halo stall, of course there's "tagayan" going on; thare's a guy collecting "jueteng" bets; there's lolo grooming his prized cockfighter ... you know what I mean???

5.Be2 is a weak move. Bc4 is better. fights for control of the d5 square. or Bb5. video was ok though. I happen to play that opening too. Your move order was bad though. You should play 2. Nc3 then 3. f4 After 2. f4 d5 Black equalizes
