I would compare the US school system with a jail/daycare hybrid, where tone is subjected to complete and utter bullshit for 5 of the 7 hours you are actually attending. I took an art class which was mandated by the unions so that teachers can have jobs. A full year, every other day, a hour and a half of cross word puzzles and limited bath room breaks. Fuck the school system.
