  • audio 'quality' FKN sucks

  • analog vinyl lp records sound better than digital cds.

  • Lmao at these two nerds arguing below me. I have to agree that Absolute wisdom is theoretically possible. And we humans call ''it'' God. So Stop arguing and trying to sound all smart because all of us know very little about our universe (or multiverse). In the end, no matter how much we try, we are all still a bunch of idiots.

  • Absolute zero is only theoretical, Absolute hot is too. neither of these have been acheived but both are theoretically possible.

  • Let me try and clarify myself. We measure tempature as degrees on a scale. There needs to be a refrence point for it to be a scale. That means a begining and an end, or absolutes. Absolutes are only for theoretical, in reality there are no absolutes. So as for theoretical there are absolutes on both ends, but in reality there are no absolutes on either end. On a scale of measuring there has to be a begining and an end. otherwise it is a cycle. just my opinion

  • it's all theoretical, but again half of science is all theoretical. And if you don't think the universe can be compressed to do this, just ask scientists who believe in the big bang theory :)

  • It* has to be stored. information is energy, Ideas are energy. As the conservation law of energy, also known as the first law of thermodynamics ( I think lol) states energy can not be created or destroyed it can only change forms. so all energy combined In my opinion is absolute wisdom. Although i realize that energy is seperate we are all connected by waves and frequencies, therefore we are all part of the absolute wisdom, again just my humble opinion.

  • If there is an absolute Ignorance there is an Absolute wisdom, you can't have one without the other. if there is no absolute wisdom there is no absolute ignorance. Why a great philosopher like Dan forgot about this is kinda dissapointing

  • @givehope2lives It's possible that Dan "forgot about this". Alternatively, it's also possible that Dan, being a great philosopher as you say, knows very well what he's talking about, and that the idea of "absolute wisdom" is incoherent absurd. I'm not sure why you'd be betting on the former possibility when the latter one seems like a much safer bet :)

  • @PavelSTL I agree that the possibility of absolute wisdom might be "incoherent" or "absurd", but I think if there is none then there is no Absolute ignorance. you cant have an absolute on one end of the spectrum and not an absolute at the other end. That is my opinion, It is also my opinion that there IS an absolute wisdom, not that any soul on earth can achieve it, but I believe all information come from somewhere, is has to be stored somewhere, it doesn't come from nowhere...just my opinion :)

  • @givehope2lives You can certainly have absolute on one end of the spectrum, but not the other. It's just a matter of ARBITRARY categorization on our part. For example, you can have absolute zero temperature, but no absolute heat or something on the other side. Infinite heat wouldn't cut it even if there was such a thing.

  • @PavelSTL I still disagree. Logically speaking, as I have stated previously, the first law of thermodynamics states heat flow is a transformation of energy and it can not be created or destroyed, just change forms. Therefore since science has a set amount of energy that is in the universe, theoretically speaking absolute zero is the absence of energy transformation causing absolutley no heat, and absolute heat would be all the energy in the universe compressed to explode causing absolute heat.

  • @givehope2lives Sorry, but that makes no sense again. Temperature is an intensive property, a statistical average of the kinetic energy, which means it has nothing to do with "all the energy in the universe" whatsoever. Absolute zero is the lack of kinetic energy of some particles in question. There's nothing absolute on the other side of the spectrum for these particles. I mean you can define the other side as whatever you want, but such definition will be totally useless and uninteresting.

  • @PavelSTL Look up absolute hot in wikipedia both are theoretical but still absolute

  • @givehope2lives Even theoretically, anything that can be modeled with a simple function like y=x^2 (parabola) has an absolute minimum, but NO absolute maximum. "Absolute hot" is precisely what I meant by " you can define the other side as whatever you want", but whether such definition has any utility is another matter. While "Absolute hot" does make some sense from the THEORETICAL standpoint, "Absolute Wisdom" does NOT. It's an incoherent concept.

  • @PavelSTL We'll have to agree to disagree then :) I can not debate with you on YT, there are to many things to write between you and I. My final statment is that absolutes are only theoretical, and if there is one absolute there is another. you can not ave a minimum w/o a maximum, you can not have light without dark, you can not have positive without negative. Everything has an opposite. Yin Yang. If there is a begining there is an end. Otherwise it is a cycle where no absolutes exist. Take care

  • competence without competence without comprehension :)

  • phat post.

  • Wonder if the termites eat imaginary zombie flesh too?
