  • **Update** I sold this bike! honestly i wouldn't recommend these Chinese kits to anyone. Unless you really like constantly fiddling with it to keep it going, or just can't spend the extra couple hundred dollars for a Honda engine and rear wheel kit, stay away! I'm sure i will get people saying otherwise, but these are really cheap kits not worth the hassle in my opinion.

  • To accommodate for the cheap bolts, would the use of a thread-lock compound be better?

  • @xkakashix12 I don't think thread lock would make any difference. The Chinese steel is the issue, it is so soft that you can easily twist the bolt threads and break it off with hardly any effort.

  • how much liter of petrol does it consume in an hour

  • @questboy86 I have no idea. lol

  • would you recommend it, because im a great small engine mechanic and can you pop the clutch and do wheelies with it like a dirt bike or what? haha, i want one to play around with but idk if its worth it

  • @jeratv21 LOL, no you definitely can't pop the clutch and do wheelies, it doesn't have that kind of power. You need to pedal up to about 10 mph and then let the clutch out. Remember this is a weak engine, not an 80cc dirt bike engine, like on a CR80. As far as if it's "worth it", i can't answer that, because to me, $150 isn't much to spend to get an engine kit in my opinion, but to some people $150 is a lot of money. It is something to putt around on, not get a adrenalin rush.

  • how good is this thing still runing, i heard you say you rebuild bike motors so, what would you compare it to your favorite brand name bikes motor. " honda, ktm"... i want one but yeah

i just wanted a check up on it

  • @jeratv21 It's holding up fine so far. I have about 300 miles on it. As far as comparing it to a Honda, KTM, or any of the Japanese manufacturers, you can't compare them. This kit is not even close to the quality of those companies, but then again you can't get an engine kit from any of the other companies for $150 either, so you have to make a choice, less $ = lower quality, or go buy a Honda engine kit and get the one that rides on the rear tire, you will get a better engine for sure.

  • ya the head bolts on mine broke cuz i was an idiot and over tightened them, then i found the spare threaded rod that looked the same length so i put it in, and when i tighened it it stripped out the hole so now im fucked. also my gas tank leaks a little but i cant find where. and the fuel shutoff valve is shit.

  • I have the same kit and I totally regret buying it. So many problems.

  • @36theghost Like what? Once i got it dialed in its been pretty good. Starts right up, seems to be getting at least 120 mpg. The clutch was the only problem I've had.

  • @tonyinfinity Lots of the parts came damaged in the mail. Dented gas tank, cut wires and red carb cover broke. Bought the motor specifically for a beach crusier and the bottom motor mount is very hard to mount on the frame if the frame isn't super skinny. A liitle more fabrication work than I wanted to get into.

  • @tonyinfinity i have one and when i give it gas it shuts down? i cant figure it out ive opened the carb up and its all clear nothings blocked and i think when i give it gas its just not getting gas? please help

  • @vincent12225 It's hard to teach you how to tune a carb through messages, try and find tuning instructions on your manufactures site. Start it with the choke and let it warm up a bit, see if you can get it to run on idle, if it dies when you give it more throttle then you need to keep turning the air screw until it keeps running. If that doesn't work then you need to change the clip position on the needle inside the slide connected to the cable. Do a search online about carb tuning. Good luck

  • Hey, I was wondering if you could tell me what brand and model that that bike is?

  • @metallakid14 At the end of the video i say it's on a Trek 820.

  • hows the bike holding up?

  • @JasonsBack100 So far so good
