I have noticed allot of English come on here and post msgs about the past, especially the world cup, even the 09 game the response was we scored 2 tries to your 1, in 2003 wal v eng W.C we scored 3 tries to 1 yet only some bad kicking by S.J and England drop goals after penalties let them win, since 2005 Wales have continued to improve and are a better team then England, 2006 was a 2nd team, even 2007 we lost to all sides apart from England doesnt that say something about England lol.

The Welsh used to harp on about the 70s for decades; now they have a half decent team, it is suddenly about the now. Ok England finished 2nd in last years 6 nations Wales finished 4th. Until Wales start beating the three Southern teams, 4 if you throw Argentina in, you will never be taken seriously on a world stage. The next world cup, its the quarter final for you and the semi- final for England at least.

Anyway you look at it, Wales, France and England had 6 points, you came second through an awful Italian team compared to Wales using new players to test them against Italy. We did beat one of the three southern teams and came close on S.A and a great first half against NZ, Englands defeats on the 3 southern teams was an embarrassment lol

I'm English. The Welsh were awesome and they beat, as welshnick stated, a spineless English side. The English side have, in my opinion, lived in a world of disbelief and arrogance since 2003 and the sooner they get over themselves and their belief that they deserve to win, rather than need to win, the better off we as a rugby-playing country will be.
Good on the Welsh - they could teach us a thing or 2.

He took England to the final in the world cup and 2nd place in the Six nations all with limited resources and then sacked him. An absolute disgrace. England are a better side than what you see at the moment but Martin Johnson should not be coach, he was a legend as a player but he is not ready to coach at this level.

If you had any sense, you'd realise I was commenting on the 2008 6 nations game, where England were outplayed by a better team.
Yesterday's game was more than the English hoped for and less than the Welsh would have wanted, but it was a super game nonetheless and could have gone either way had England (once again) not destroyed themselves with indiscipline.

theres only been 6 world cups god you make it look like its every year for the last 100 years, give it time, you will be lucky if you ever get that far again with the way your team is playing since 2007. the voted best match in 2003 was the wales v nz. 50 point whooping was with a 2nd team and a poor coach, we beat you by 3 in 05, 9 in 07, 7 in 08, 8 in 09 seems to be getting more. Lets put this into perspective South Africa and Australia beat England by 30 points last November, thats how far you are away from them. Thats works out at 25 points a game, which is not exactly amazing is it; Wales used to concede that many in one game 70 odd, not so long ago, now that is amazing. Yes, this was an England team in transition last year . However, there were signs at the end of last 6 nations that it was coming togethor. Wales always do well in the 1 or 2 years after the world cup 2005, 2008 when other sides are rebuilding. We concentrate on the world cup, not playing Wales.
