Keep up the awesome videos, and don't listen to the haters but try to keep as safe as possible and possibly make a video showing the safety procedures you use so you don't get so many people on our back.

FPV flyers are showing us how to take model flying to the next level. No need to become resentful, Just go out there and do... Some people might be pulling their hairs out and looking for a reason to spoil it. But so what.

I love the fly-by's of trees land scape, especially how you pick out the radio antenna towers like "pylons" and it is quite inspiring when you fly overhead people, either driving, biking, it is quite humbling to think they looked up and saw you, and maybe thought what it must look like from your perspective. That is what you do!

well I watched on the full screen and missed the weather report piece so need to go back and watch that. I will set the saftey concerns aside as here in the USA they are actually developing (and all ready have) these types of aircraft for police observation and the army has for survelence as well. No one seems to have a saftey concern there.
I loved the flyby of the live weather(?) report :D
Now you know that I love your videos, but I have to disagree with the statement on your disclaimer. We know that electronic components can and do fail without warning. A FPV RC plane has multiple single points of failure, control TX/RX, ESC, each servo, camera, video TX/RX and goggles, the only possible exception is if you have diversity on video RX.
So you really should not fly over such highly populated areas, sorry. :(
@carlosthecactus I have "diversity" on battery, R/C Rx, video RX, goggles (2 goggles, one LCD). so the only single point of failure would have been a servo and ESC, both were replaced just for this flight and tested for 0.5h continuous movement under load. like I said, a lot of planning goes into these flights :)
@nastycop420 Ok, not perfect but certainly better than I expected. How does your control RX diversity work? Is it true receiver replication or something like the Spektrum satellite units?

@carlosthecactus 2 antennas for RF diversity. the receiver board contains 2 separate receivers, though, so it's not just one receiver with 2 antennas. made by ImmersionRC, 8ch EzUHF diversity RX. digital link too, so I can't get shot down no matter how hard you try :)
@nastycop420 The EzUHF looks very impressive, and would seem to make adding a head tracker to my current setup quite easy... I would be tempted to get one myself if it would not mean my wife making me sleep in the garden for a while! ;)
