this is one of the reasons why reps happily hung up on calls, put people on very very very long holds, mess up callers' accounts.. reps have caller IDs, they can see your phone number even if you say you made your phone "PRIVATE"... you just don't know what reps on phone can do with your personal informations and on your account.. do not mess up with people who know all of your informations...

Funny but I have myself now a job (tho in the medical industry) where I have to deal with patients for hours on the phone. It really is hard work, but unlike the microsoft guys I can hurt/kill people if I make a mistake in real life. The only thing they can kill are the Counters or Terrorists depending what side they chose in first place.

well, depends on what exactly u do. We do tech support as well as cust care. And on tech support you wont get that many calls as they take up to 25 - 30 minutes of troubleshooting sometimes. But its tough...

When I was still on the phones I did order verification and activations for Sprint. Order Verification sucked because they were basically fraud orders and we had to drill the scammer until we got them to slip up or verify with the real customer and fix everything that was changed in there account by the scammer, sucked but thats the life of a phone jockey.
