it's a shame there aren't enough videos of Camilo with Weckl on youtube. Weckl played with Camilo for quite a long time...

a matter of taste. In my opinion both drummers are the best in the world yet and I have great admiration for both but I am inclined to the taste of Horacio Hernandez is a more Latin sound. While Dave has a touch of pure jazz

@DrumSei hahaha you obviously have no heard enough of the two to give an opinion, heracio hernandes is one of the most musical drummer i have ever heard, and he is definitely the most musical drummer on the drumming scene right now. dave weckl is an ok drummer, he seems to treat every piece of music as if it was his personal drum solo. whereas heracio really listens to the song. you should listen to some more heracio hernandes before you make a comment like that.

1000 veces horacio "el negro " hernandez que dave weckl , no cave duda k el latino puede tocar todos los generos y el gringo solamente el jazz claro hay sus hesepciones pero el negro le da mas gusto a esta melodia y deve weckl es mas robotisado tampien son tecnicas diferentes pero ahi mas omenos

I prefer Jackson's solo from the Calle 54 recording, as opposd to his Rendezvous solo. I've played both solos, and the Calle 54 solo sounds much better.
