I think it is funny how people take their prejudices against a performer and translate that to a song being good or not. Say what you will about Britney Spears and what you may not like about her. But this is a good pop song. No more than that. It has nothing to do with her. You like amixia's performance of the song because it did not come with the preconceived notions you had against Britney.

But...that is also not to take away from your performance amixia. Great job. I really enjoyed it.

Still not at good as the Ahmet Zappa cover (which holds up as one of the greatest covers in history), but its a close second.

Just in case you may take what could loosely be called a request into consideration, I think you could do wonders with one of the more "ballady" Barenaked Ladies songs, like "Thanks That Was Fun". Or, you could simply try to nail my favorite song by them, "It's Only Me (The Wizard of Magicland). Its a faster song, but I think your on it take would be great.
