this was a very good day and has become historicised like many signifigant events of the era. I was there, and remember thinking its 1969 and the rolling stones are still going, never thinking that 42 years later too. king crimson were by general consensus the hit of the day I think.

Brian Jones had just died and people thought the Stones might be through and then they had this concert in Hyde Park and introduced the song "Jumpin' Jack Flash". It was Mick Taylor's first concert. Baptism by fire. He did good.
