Lufthansa...Simply the best!!! I love my Lufthansa. I live and work in the United Arab Emirates and fly Lufthansa every time from Denver to Abu Dhabi and back again. I would always fly them from Denver to Paris and back when I had business there. I have been satisfied every time. And when the flight crew remembers your name, even better. I couldn't even think of flying another airline. I am thinking of doing the Dubai Frankfurt 380 flight this time. Danke sehr Lufthansa, bis bald!!

The Lufthansa first class lounge is sweeeeeet! I'm in joyland whenver I score an American Airlines Admiral's Club pass and that is NOTHING compared to Lufthansa! But I wouldn't say the food and drinks and whatnot is all "free". It is expensive in money or miles to get a first class seat on those long haul flights that give you access to the lounge and concierge service.

Very nice service from LH.. I bet one wishes all their North American routes were on the 747 to get that awesome bed in First Class!! I have noticed that the PTV was indeed smaller than standard first class in LH, I think this is the older F class product, do you know if they have upgraded the F class on the A343? I'm flying Qatar Airways to Sri Lanka in june, and SAS to Lithuania in march. So with my current "system" I will never get so many miles. I do have 30,000 I think, status miles at Lufthansa :)

But Frankfurt is the biggest hub in europe for all flights from the USA. if you land in Frankfurt, you can go almost anywhere in the world. frankfurt is Lufthansa's hub, also, and Lufthansa is a star alliance partner with United, which is what I fly mainly in the USA. thanks.

I want to make this experience once in my life. But it costs too much. Me personally, I prefer to fly with a small airplane to wonderful destinations where you can say THATS ALSO FLYING. This is the luxury way to fly. I prefer the simple one but like I said, I want to make this experience with all extras and all luxury.

And just like you... my next flight following a decadent flying experience is almost always in cattle class. Boy does it hurt especially when a systemwide certificate on a mid-range upgrade eligible coach fare gets you to #1 or #2 in the wait list but insufficient to get an upgrade on a packed 747 on a trip home across the pacific on a Friday. Sometimes, it just does not work out for working stiffs like me.
This is how banked miles should be spent -- not on almost meaningless domestic and regional upgrades or free domestic flts. SQ to F or C class to Asia and only F on LH to Europe.
@alndenver Yes, I agree. I got that advice from travelswithsheila (see my homepage). She also recommended this, and boy was she right. I would (nor could) ever pay for a first class ticket on LH, but with miles, I could experience what true luxury was. However, I can easily buy a domestic ticket in the USA, so it's less exotic redeeming them for a domestic flight. Thanks for the comment!

My request is to go in greater depth when it comes to planes - as of now, you're showing aspects such as the food and comfort of seat (plus take off/landing) - in future videos, try and include the quality of stuff like the AVOD, standard of FA services, previews of the toilets, surrouding seats etc
But otherwise, I love these videos. It's really interesting to see these different onboard experiences as they can lead to people making good choices

Duckies are not in the showers, but in the big bathrooms only (which looked like unfortunate Bangkok theses days when i left it)..so just insist on a normal bath room next time. A shame the cigars have gone! Loved the allple sorbet..I must say LH First Class food cannot be topped..did they come with the etagere like in my video? And yes: your table rotates better than mine, lol. Very best regards!!!

Certainly, we each have different styles, and people can appreciate both types. I must say, I really enjoyed the wine tasting. That idea, I got from you. Some of the wines in first are spectacular--as good as any high quality restaurant. That is a huge plus, and I will be sure to always taste in first class.

This is how banked miles should be spent -- not on almost meaningless domestic and regional upgrades or free domestic flts. SQ to F or C class to Asia and only F on LH to Europe.

@alndenver Yes, I agree. I got that advice from travelswithsheila (see my homepage). She also recommended this, and boy was she right. I would (nor could) ever pay for a first class ticket on LH, but with miles, I could experience what true luxury was. However, I can easily buy a domestic ticket in the USA, so it's less exotic redeeming them for a domestic flight. Thanks for the comment!

@emiratesman13 Shivering with excitement? No, actually, what you heard was the sound of my thumb over the microphone on the camera. The microphone is right next to the start & stop button, so when I hold the camera, you hear the sound of my finger over the microphone.

My request is to go in greater depth when it comes to planes - as of now, you're showing aspects such as the food and comfort of seat (plus take off/landing) - in future videos, try and include the quality of stuff like the AVOD, standard of FA services, previews of the toilets, surrouding seats etc
But otherwise, I love these videos. It's really interesting to see these different onboard experiences as they can lead to people making good choices

Just back from Tanzania,,and I feel really fluttered by all your nice references:) The day you start flirting with the crews, also, I think i will stop video making, lol. Honestly: nobody on youtube makes trip reports more perfect than you..from A-Z, and this one is another outstanding example. @homer3152 Btw: they put you in the wrong place for ducky hunting..did that to me too, at first. Duckies are not in the showers, but in the big bathrooms only (which looked like unfortunate Bangkok theses days when i left it)..so just insist on a normal bath room next time. A shame the cigars have gone! Loved the allple sorbet..I must say LH First Class food cannot be topped..did they come with the etagere like in my video? And yes: your table rotates better than mine, lol. Very best regards!!!

Yes, they did come with the etagere, and they offered it to me. However, I knew it would be too much food, so I only got the caviar and one appetizer. I really want to enjoy the dessert, and I hate to waste food. Perhaps if I skip the lounge food and I was starving, I may get the etagere one day. Hope you had a nice time in Tanzania!

@homer3152 No worries, homer. Bootsy and I all thought that you were traveling and busy. You are too kind. My reports cannot top yours, especially since you have the music and effects. Certainly, we each have different styles, and people can appreciate both types. I must say, I really enjoyed the wine tasting. That idea, I got from you. Some of the wines in first are spectacular--as good as any high quality restaurant. That is a huge plus, and I will be sure to always taste in first class.
