There is a colloquial saying that the "Cigarette Snail" gives you enough time to smoke a cigarette and then die. This, while a gross exaggeration, is an interesting fact in my opinion. We had a lecture on this snail today. But I would dispute that no substances injected can kill within a short period of time. Several toxins (especially neurotoxins) are capabale of almost instant death if injected into a blood vessel.

@shin1300 i believe the "lethal" injection is actually 3 injections, one to put the criminal to sleep, one to stop their heart and the other to stop their breathing. They are usually pronounced dead after 5 minutes...

i think even the most lethal venoms take around 30 minutes to kill a human

on the tv show THE MOST EXTREAME they showed the conesnail. they also had stated that a man holding up to cone snail shells up to the camera next to his face was killed in 4 seconds because both cone snails stung him.
