I thought I would like a Chihuahua but not anymore. I think that is terrible. I got bit from a Chihuahua when I was a kid and it hurt. You should try rubbing the dog a bit slower and be more gentle. It may look funny but it's not good. I have a MinPin that used to growl and bare his teeth. I thought it was funny but my husband encouraged me to be more gentle with the dog and it has made a big difference. Sometimes smaller dogs are afraid.
