If you hit your pet, won't they get hurt and be afraid of you? and if you take good care of them won't they be glad and respect you as their master? Aren't that feelings the same as humans do? Their not robot that has no feelings!

humans are carnivores, but I agree that there is no reason for cruelty in it. There are a TON of companies out there that raise the animals in cruelty free enviroments, without using growth hormones, and we're healthier by eating that meat. I grew up on a ranch and we never, ever treated our animals poorly like this. I can't be vegan, though, it's unhealthy for humans, I've had doctors tell me that my whole life. I have a heart condition, so might factor that in. Some people just can't.
