Syesha NEVER asked to be compared to Beyonce, It's is not some vocal war... She probably LOVES beyonce as a serperate artist and just sang one of her songs. This video is Bogus For that reason AND because Sye's video clip used here is by far not her best performance of "Listen"... Also Beyonce is the origional singer so there is an automatic win here. Personally Syesha's voice is more pleasant in my opinion.

Honestly, I've watched a lot of youtube covers on beyonce and have NEVER come across someone who can sing as great as she can. But, watching Syesha, DAMN she's got some talent! I think they're both amazing singers, but I still have to go with Beyonce on this one. I just love her too much :)

I didnt hear the emotion in syesha's rendition, beyone added the hardness to her tone I believe had syesha sang it in the same key as beyonce I would've felt it more.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, but you cannot tell me that Syesha's vocals compared anything to Beyonce's. She sounded like she needed to blow her nose through the whole performance. BUT comparing these two isn't fair, Beyonce has had much more training, and you can hear it.

No, she doesnt have emotion in her voice, she's never moved myself or really anyone I know thru a performance. You watch Adele, Christina, Kelly .. they MOVE people when they sing. Beyonce, sure she has power and can belt out long notes but that's all she can do. Nothing is more annoying then when she constantly uses that echo effect in her performances.

Syesha NEVER asked to be compared to Beyonce, It's is not some vocal war... She probably LOVES beyonce as a serperate artist and just sang one of her songs. This video is Bogus For that reason AND because Sye's video clip used here is by far not her best performance of "Listen"... Also Beyonce is the origional singer so there is an automatic win here. Personally Syesha's voice is more pleasant in my opinion.

Further more if you read the info he was stating that Syesha has been chosen to play Deena Jones in an up an coming play which is the role Bey plays in DreamGirls. Honestly, I've watched a lot of youtube covers on beyonce and have NEVER come across someone who can sing as great as she can. But, watching Syesha, DAMN she's got some talent! I think they're both amazing singers, but I still have to go with Beyonce on this one. I just love her too much :)

B very strategically takes the note down to control them better, and Syesha just goes for and attacks all the higher notes, and where it sounds like she is gonna crack or scratch, she maintains a silky smooth texture. B's technique is simply amazing, however.

Beyonce is the king/queen of music she holds it down in every category and can sing any song you put in front of her. syesha is really good also her voice is amazing but i feel beyonce has more experience and a higher vocal range, she controls her voice so well. keep it up syesha and shell be up there with her. but beyonce will always hold the crown.

Syesha is an amazing singer, no doubt about it, I'm definitely a fan of hers but I felt it more when Beyonce sang it. Maybe because it may have more meaning to Beyonce. Yes B is a loud singer but she always has been, many singers are loud, it grabs you in the performance. Besides, the song is called listen, everyone is loud when they want you to listen.. Great job to both ladies!
